Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Jilthan LLC collects through this website and service portal, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have.
Effective date: September 1, 2026 · Version 2026-09-01
1. Who we are
Jilthan LLC (“Jilthan,” “we,” “us”) provides onsite information-technology and network field services and operates this application to accept service requests, manage work orders, and coordinate technicians and clients. We are based in Houston, Texas. You can reach us using the contact details at the end of this policy.
2. Information we collect
We only collect information that supports the services described above:
- Information you submit through our forms. When you request service, request a quote, contact us, or apply to become a technician, we collect the details you provide — such as your name, email address, phone number, business or company name, service address or location, and the description of your request. Technician and field-representative applicants may also provide skills, experience, service area, and an optional profile photo.
- Account information. If you hold a client, technician, or staff account, we store your name, email address, phone number, assigned role, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in readable form.
- Service-delivery information. To perform and document work, we store work-order details, site and location information, job notes, photos taken on site, and customer sign-off signatures captured during job closeout.
- Attribution and device information. When you arrive from a link or search, we may record the page you landed on, the referring website, campaign parameters in the link (UTM tags), and your general device type (mobile, tablet, or desktop). This helps us understand how people find us. We do not use this to build advertising profiles.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of data (such as government identifiers, financial account numbers, or health information) through this application, and we ask that you not submit them in free-text fields.
3. How we use information
- To respond to your requests, prepare quotes, and schedule and deliver services.
- To create and administer accounts and the client, technician, and administrator portals.
- To document completed work, generate service reports, and communicate status updates.
- To operate, secure, and improve the application, including detecting and preventing abuse.
- To understand, in aggregate, how customers find and use our services.
- To meet legal, tax, contractual, and record-keeping obligations.
4. Cookies and tracking
We use a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in after you log in — the application will not work correctly without it. We also use your browser’s temporary session storage to remember, for the duration of your visit, how you first arrived at our site (for attribution). This information is first-party and is cleared when you close the tab.
We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking on this application. If we add third-party analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, present a cookie choice before those tools load.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited situations:
- Service providers. We use trusted vendors to run the application — including a cloud storage provider (Amazon Web Services / S3) that stores uploaded files and job photos, and the Abacus.AI platform that hosts the application and generates service-report PDFs. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and contractual obligations.
- Between the parties to a job. Information needed to complete a job (for example, a site address or job notes) is visible to the assigned technician and the relevant client, according to their role.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Jilthan, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers. If Jilthan is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and then for as long as we have a legitimate business or legal reason to do so — for example, to maintain work-order and service records, honor contracts, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and comply with tax and record-keeping laws. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
7. How we protect information
We use layered safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), role-based access controls, hashed passwords, access checks before files can be retrieved, rate limiting on sign-in and public forms, and audit logging of sensitive actions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; we work to protect your information using reasonable, industry-aligned measures and to improve them over time.
8. Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, subject to records we are required to retain. To make a request, contact us using the details below; we may need to verify your identity before acting. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law. Texas residents may have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act; we honor verified requests as required by law.
9. Children’s privacy
This application is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the effective date and version shown above. Your continued use of the application after an update means you acknowledge the current policy.
